Efficient and Automated Calf Rearing with the Alma Pro Automatic Feeder

The Urban Alma Pro automatic feeder ensures reliable and automated calf feeding.

This way, each animal receives exactly the right amount of fresh milk or milk replacer, which supports healthy growth and successful calf rearing.

Thanks to digital monitoring, you can keep track of important data such as drinking behavior, health status, and milk temperature at all times—either directly on the display or via a mobile device.

At the same time, time-consuming tasks such as carrying buckets, mixing portions, or rinsing are eliminated.

For modern and efficient calf rearing.

On-Demand, Mobile Calf Feeding for Every Farm

The MilkShuttle is a rugged and flexible mobile calf feeding mixer designed for modern calf rearing.

It simplifies feeding, saves time, and, thanks to its precise operation, easily adapts to any terrain.

Available in five different sizes and with varying capacities, it offers the right solution for every farm.

Top of the range technology for digital health recording.

Precise monitoring for calf rearing – the Urban VitalControl enables you to monitor and document the health status of your animals using technology that combines an RFID reader with a thermometer. We are incredibly proud that the Urban VitalControl was awarded a silver Innovation Award by the DLG (German Agricultural Society) in 2018.

Reliable disinfection for a germ-free environment for your calves.

Modern technology for your farm – the EcoProtectorUV-C uses irradiation to disinfect contaminated surfaces and reliably kill all pathogens. The EcoProtector UV-C is an add-on for the MilkShuttle. The system can be attached in only a few steps and used during daily cleaning.

Low-germ drinking teats for optimal calf health.

Automated calf feeding reduces workload and allows animals to be fed precisely and based on their needs. Nevertheless, the communal use of drinking teats also involves health risks. To prevent chains of infection spreading through an animal group, we developed the Alma Pro HygieneSetUV-C. The proven method, which utilises UV-C rays, enables the system to disinfect the teat and its casing, and – to destroy contaminated water – the boiler that comes with the set. This non-chemical, environmentally friendly solution reduces all pathogens after only a short period of time.

Efficient and modern – lamb and kid rearing with the Alma Pro L.

Rearing lambs and kids professionally is demanding and time-consuming. The Urban Alma Pro L was designed to help you deal with these very issues. Our technology combines a reliable feeding machine with a modern animal health management system. Each lamb or kid receives the exact amount of milk to which it is entitled, and which specifically supports its development. This not only benefits the individual lamb or kid, but also the entire group. What’s more, our system gives you individual control over each animal in the group. How much milk is a specific lamb or kid drinking? What is the temperature of the milk? Are my lambs and kids healthy? You can access this information at any time from the screen in the barn or from your mobile phone while on the go.

With the Urban Feed Monitor app, you can take your Urban Alma Pro to the next level.

Access all important information about your feeders and animals anytime, anywhere, directly from your smartphone or tablet. Feeding, health, and status data are displayed in real time, giving you a clear overview of your operation at all times.

With instant push notifications for important events, intuitive animal management, and an easy-to-use interface, the app helps you work more efficiently and respond quickly when action is needed. It also supports the management of multiple barns and feeders, making daily herd management simpler, smarter, and more reliable.
